Welcome to Rock & Roll Guitar 101.
Allow me to explain a little bit about what I am planning to do. I was recently looking through the pages on lessons on the On-line Guitar College and realized they dont really have anything that will bring you from an absolute beginner to a fairly decent guitar player. So I decided to do so. I have a total of 30 lessons in my collection (that may seem like a lot) but most lessons on the internet take between one and three hours to complete. Generally my lessons take less than 30 minutes to complete and as you get more advanced, between 10-20 minutes a piece. But if you already know some of the basics I suggest you skim through the first few pages (hey, you might learn a new chord)
Anyways, my program basically works like this (this is how I was taught and I was getting paying gigs after less than a year after I first picked up a guitar) I will tell you something about a particular skill in guitar playing, show you a new chord or two and usualy show you a new song to practice.
